Dr. Cecelia Mikles
Dr. Cecelia aka Cece began her Chiropractic journey at the age of 20 when she received her first chiropractic adjustment. Prior to this adjustment she had already undergone 2 reconstructive knee surgeries, minor sports injuries, falls off numerous horses and one severe car accident. This adjustment and the many more that followed helped her chronic pain and headaches subside, as well as other things like pms, allergies and anxiety began to get better. This lead her on a path to understand the human body and how it heals, as well as nutrition and what we put in the human body.
In 2014 Dr. Cece graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon; after previously obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University in Biology. She has also completed over 400 hours of post graduate classes through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association’s Diplomate certification.
In 2015 she opened Healthy Spine Chiropractic with the intention of creating a safe, fun environment that families can grow and health can flourish. She genuinely cares about every one of her patients and takes pride in treating the person, not just the symptom. Dr. Cece recognizes that each person is different; therefore all of her patients receive personalized care based on their specific needs. She is passionate about helping children in the community reach their optimal health potential, as well as teaching everyone about their bodies innate healing capabilities.
She is certified in Webster Technique, a chiropractic specific technique to help optimize pelvic alignment and function during pregnancy. She also practices Diversified, Logan, Activator, SOT and Thompson chiropractic techniques. She also has training in Craniosacral therapy through Upledger Craniosacral techniques. She is also certified in Graston technique, which is a unique, evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that effectively addresses scar tissue, fascial restrictions and range of motion. Dr. Cece also offers cupping therapy for decompression of soft tissue and fascial restrictions.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, son Cameron, daughter Claire and their bulldog Duke. Together their favorite activities are being outside together as a family.
